Screen Territory - Production finance

The Production Finance program provides financial support for eligible screen projects that showcase Northern Territory stories and contribute to the growth of the Territory’s screen industry. It supports productions with strong Northern Territory content by providing production finance, encouraging local storytelling and strengthening the capacity of Northern Territory filmmakers and production companies. Support is available to eligible individuals and Northern Territory companies, and may include additional incentives for projects that meet programme criteria.

Production finance and additional incentives for eligible projects; maximum support up to $100,000 or 25% of Northern Territory expenditure.

The programme is open to eligible individuals and companies involved in screen production. Individual applicants must be Australian citizens, Northern Territory residents and at least 18 years of age. Company applicants must be Northern Territory companies and meet programme guidelines. Applicants must demonstrate capacity to complete the production, hold required rights, have appropriate copyright ownership or clearances, and meet Screen Territory programme requirements.
