Branco Weiss Fellowship Program 2026

The Branco Weiss Fellowship Program 2026 is a funded fellowship for outstanding early-career researchers to pursue independent, interdisciplinary research in Switzerland and beyond. Fellows have complete intellectual freedom to design and conduct their own research projects and are affiliated with a host institution of their choice. The program supports long-term funding, mentorship, and collaboration across natural sciences, engineering, social sciences, and humanities.

Open to international applicants who hold a PhD or are expected to complete one before the start of the fellowship.
