Information

The UFAW Animal Welfare Student Scholarships provide up to £3,600 to enable students to develop their interests in animal welfare science. Scholarships support students in carrying out their own project, whether research or educational, with the aim of contributing to knowledge on animal welfare across farm animals, zoo animals, pets, animals used in research, or wildlife interactions. Projects typically last 4–8 weeks and may be carried out during July–September or at other times during the year of application.

Eligibility

Open to undergraduate or MSc students who are interested in carrying out a project in animal welfare. Applicants must be studying at a UFAW LINK university/institute or be supervised by someone at one, and PhD students are not eligible.
