DAAD IFI – International Research Fellowships for Computer Scientists

The DAAD IFI – International Research Fellowships for Computer Scientists is a mobility fellowship for postdoctoral researchers in artificial intelligence, computer science, and related disciplines to undertake independent research projects at partner institutes in the United States, Japan, or Canada. The fellowship supports research stays from three to 24 months and emphasizes international collaboration and research excellence. Applicants are hosted at partner institutions such as ICSI (USA), NII (Japan), and Mila (Canada).

International research stays (3–24 months) at leading AI and CS research centers, opportunities for collaboration, publication and networking, access to host institute facilities.

Postdoctoral researchers who have completed their doctorate within the last four years and have a strong background in computer science, artificial intelligence, or related fields.

Applications are submitted directly through DAAD for the IFI – International Research Fellowships for Computer Scientists; rolling submissions are encouraged.
