Canada Fellowship 2027

The Canada Fellowship 2027 is a fully funded research fellowship for senior academics at Canadian universities. It provides up to $300,000 in combined funding per Fellow, including research grants and teaching relief, with a focus on socially impactful research in governance, policy, and related humanities and social sciences areas. Fellows are nominated by eligible Canadian universities and are expected to mentor graduate students and engage with broader society.

Candidates must hold a full-time tenured academic position in Canada, be at or near the rank of full professor, demonstrate national or international recognition, and be actively engaged in research with societal impact.

Fellows must be nominated by eligible Canadian universities; direct individual applications are not accepted.
