Germany’s Academy Fellowships of International Affairs 2027/28

The Academy Fellowships of International Affairs North Rhine-Westphalia (AIA NRW) offers residencies of three to ten months in Bonn for post-doctoral scholars and senior practitioners in politics, diplomacy, media, business, and civil society. The programme funds housing, travel, office space, and research infrastructure, with compensation provided as stipends, paid leave arrangements, or reimbursements to home institutions. It aims to bridge academic research and policy practice through scholarly and practitioner tracks and collaboration on publications and events.
