TRAJECTS Scholarships for 2026 Intake

The TRAJECTS scholarship program offers eight fully funded Master’s scholarships distributed across partner universities in South Africa and Colombia. It supports two-year engagement from August 2026 through July 2028, including a stipend intended to cover living costs and tuition, access to TRAJECTS workshops, mobility support, and language funding. Scholars must align their research with core TRAJECTS themes and independently secure admission to an eligible Master’s programme at a partner institution.

Monthly stipend (EUR 1,000), access to TRAJECTS workshops, mobility support, language funding, networking and cross-border training opportunities.

The scholarship is open to international applicants who have completed or are near completion of a relevant Bachelor’s degree and must independently apply for admission to an eligible Master's programme at a partner university. Applicants should demonstrate alignment with at least one TRAJECTS thematic area and willingness to engage with the transnational network.

Submit a direct university admission application to a participating Master’s programme, then prepare a TRAJECTS scholarship application with a research proposal and evidence of admission; follow the two-track process as outlined by TRAJECTS.
