German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Germany 2026

Information

The DAAD KOSPIE Scholarship Programme 2026 is a funded opportunity for engineering and informatics students to undertake a six-month study and practical research stay at leading German universities, combining academic research with hands-on training in laboratories and university departments. Selected participants will work on their final thesis project while gaining international experience and networking with German institutions. The program is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and supported by Germany’s development cooperation initiatives.

Benefits

Monthly stipend of €992, travel allowance, health and accident insurance coverage, personal liability insurance, and access to university research facilities during the study stay

Eligibility

Applicants must be engineering or informatics students enrolled at a recognized university, possess strong academic performance, meet English language proficiency requirements, and demonstrate motivation to complete their final thesis research in Germany.
