Global Health Scholars – Undergraduate Program

The Global Health Scholars – Undergraduate Program is a funded opportunity for McGill University undergraduate students to participate in summer research placements across international destinations, Northern Canada, and major Canadian cities. Selected scholars receive travel funding, living support, mentorship from McGill faculty, and structured training as part of a professional pathway in global health. The program aims to provide hands-on research experience and professional development in global health leadership during a funded summer placement, with additional activities throughout the academic year.

Financial backing for the summer research placement, travel funding where applicable, mentorship from McGill faculty, structured pre-departure training, and ongoing access to McGill’s global health network and related opportunities.

Applicants must be currently enrolled as undergraduates at McGill University, demonstrate strong academic standing and commitment to global health, be available for a full summer research placement in 2026, and be willing to engage in training sessions and related activities.
