Wallace Watson Scholarships 2026

The Wallace Watson Scholarships offer funding opportunities for University of Oxford students through two awards: the Wallace Watson Scholarship Award for expeditions or travel projects and the Wallace Watson Research Award for undergraduate research or dissertation projects. The awards aim to remove financial barriers and support meaningful challenges that build character, confidence, and academic depth. They are available to members of St Catherine’s College, Oxford, and are intended for projects that involve remote or challenging environments or rigorous academic research to advance scholarly development.

Financial support for expedition/travel or undergraduate research/dissertation, plus potential eligibility for additional funding depending on project needs and merit.

Open to undergraduate and graduate members of St Catherine’s College for the Award (Expedition & Travel) and to undergraduate members for the Research Award; travel must occur by 31 January 2027 and research/dissertation must be completed by the end of the following academic year.
