Global Galway Scholarships

The Global Galway Scholarships provide merit-based funding for international non-EU students admitted to undergraduate or postgraduate taught programmes within the University of Galway's College of Science and Engineering. The scheme includes automatic merit scholarships and Excellence Scholarships with higher values, applicable across a range of science, engineering, computing, and related disciplines. Undergraduate awards are typically €5,000 per year, with some programmes offering €10,000 per year; postgraduate awards include merit scholarships up to €5,000 per year plus €10,000 Excellence Scholarships per programme.

Open to international (non-EU) students applying to eligible undergraduate or postgraduate taught programmes within the College of Science and Engineering, who hold or are in the process of securing an offer from the University of Galway.
