The Dr Andreas Schild Memorial Mountain Prize 2025 recognizes outstanding contributions to mountain conservation and resilience in the HKH region. Two prizes of USD 2,500 are awarded in categories for Glacier Preservation and Rangeland Restoration, highlighting impacts at grassroots and community levels and potential for regional learning.

Prize money (USD 2,500 per prize) and recognition for the contributors’ work in mountain conservation.

Eligibility

Open to outstanding individuals or organisations working with ICIMOD partners or within ICIMOD’s Regional Member Countries (RMCs).
