APSA MENA Workshop 2026

The American Political Science Association (APSA) MENA Workshop 2026 is a four-day in-person workshop organized in partnership with the Doha Institute in Doha, Qatar. It targets advanced doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, and early-career scholars from the MENA region working in political science and related social science disciplines, focusing on participatory and engaged research methods. The organizers cover participation costs, including travel, lodging, and materials, for up to 20 qualified applicants.

Open to advanced doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, and early-career scholars (those who received their PhDs within the past 5 years), including PhD-holding practitioners who are citizens of MENA countries.

Submit an online application form along with required documents (CV, research statement for PhD students and early-career scholars, or cover letter for PhD-holding practitioners, plus a letter of reference).
