The timbuktoo Pan-African EdTech Incubation Programme 2027 is a continent-wide incubation programme for education technology startups in Africa. It provides incubation, mentorship, investment-readiness training and access to a network of incubators, investors and innovation partners. The programme targets early-stage startups with a working prototype or MVP and a committed founding team. It aims to help startups scale products across African markets and prepare for early-stage investment.

Professional incubation through leading African incubators; one-on-one mentorship; investment readiness training; business development support; access to the SIGMA digital platform; networking with investors and innovation leaders; connections across the African startup ecosystem; opportunities for future acceleration and exposure to early-stage investment.

Applicants must be founders or teams of EdTech startups based in an African country, have a functional prototype or MVP, a committed founding team, and demonstrate market demand through pilot users, partnerships or customer engagement.

Complete the online application form on the UNDP timbuktoo application portal, provide a startup profile and pitch deck, demonstrate a working prototype/MVP, upload supporting documents and submit before the closing date.
