HIIA Future Leaders Program – Fall 2026

The Hungarian Institute of International Affairs (HIIA) invites applications for the Future Leaders Program – Fall 2026. The fellowship provides research opportunities under professional mentorship for talented young individuals in foreign policy, with in-person activity in Hungary. Fellows participate in research, work with HIIA projects and groups, and receive educational and professional training including seminars and media/public speaking coaching.

Educational and professional training through seminars; mentorship; participation in research projects; opportunity to produce research reports and conduct a personal research project; travel support for international fellows.

Open to recent graduates (minimum bachelor’s degree) with an interest in foreign policy; suitable fields include International Relations, Philosophy, Political Science, History, Diplomacy.

Selected candidates will be interviewed.
