Master in Fine Arts (MFA) in Cinema Scholarship (Fulbright/CAPES)

The Fulbright Commission, in partnership with CAPES, offers a fully funded MFA scholarship for cinema and screenwriting studies in the United States. Up to two scholarships are available for a 24-month program starting around August 2026, including a monthly stipend, coverage of tuition and academic fees up to US$70,000, a US$1,000 relocation allowance, round-trip air travel, and health insurance. Applicants must have Brazilian nationality, completed higher education, and proven experience in screenwriting for film or audiovisual productions, along with English proficiency.
