Obama Foundation Scholars Program

The Obama Foundation Scholars Program is a one-year leadership and academic fellowship hosted at Columbia University for experienced professionals who have demonstrated commitment to service and leadership in their communities and who intend to return to those communities after the program. Fellows participate in leadership development activities, workshops on topics such as management, data analysis, public speaking, and resilience, and may enroll in additional Columbia courses. The program includes mentorship, networking opportunities, and connections with New York City leaders.

Stipend, furnished housing, airfare, health insurance, tuition coverage for the program and up to four additional Columbia courses, mentorship and networking opportunities.

The program is for mid-career professionals who have demonstrated commitment to service and leadership in a community and who intend to return to their communities after the program.
