TWAS Visiting Expert Programme 2025/2026

The TWAS Visiting Expert Programme 2025/2026 invites internationally recognized scientists to collaborate with host institutions in developing countries. It aims to establish long-term links, support capacity-building, and enable visiting experts to deliver lectures, supervise students, and engage in research and training activities at the host institution.

Travel funding for the visiting expert; opportunities to collaborate, deliver lectures and seminars, supervise students, and develop future partnerships with the host institution.

Only persons who have attained international recognition in their fields of science will be considered for support under this programme. Nominations of women are particularly welcomed.

Institutions apply via an online application form, uploading documents such as a CV, publications list, a research/teaching plan, and a statement from the host institution.
