Cengiz Bektaş Şiir Ödülü

The Cengiz Bektaş Poetry Prize is a national literary award for poetry. It awards a monetary prize to the chosen work and provides accompanying recognition, with the winner announced during a dedicated program and travel/accommodation funded by the organizing committee. The prize aims to support poets writing in Turkish and recognizing the craft of concise, clear Turkish poetry.

Monetary prize of 35,000 TRY; certificate and related commemorative items; travel and accommodation for the award presentation; public recognition.

Poetry books published between January 1 and December 31, 2026 and not previously awarded are eligible to apply.

Submit six copies of the published poetry book along with required documents by post or in person to the provided address by 31 December 2026; additional materials as specified by the selectors.
