The Bilgi Yayınevi Turgut Özakman First Novel Competition is an open literary contest organized by Bilgi Yayınevi to discover new authors. It is a biennial competition for writers who have not previously published a novel. A prize of 25,000 Turkish Liras is awarded to the chosen work, and the winner’s publishing rights belong to Bilgi Yayınevi.
