Uluslararası Turan’a Doğru Dede Korkut Öykü Yarışması

The Uluslararası Turan’a Doğru Dede Korkut Öykü Yarışması is an international short-story contest for high school students, organized by the Dede Korkut Platformu. It invites officially registered secondary school students from Turkey and abroad to submit literary works based on the theme of Dede Korkut, with cash prizes for top winners and a multi-day prize visit to Istanbul for national and international winners. Winners are recognized at a ceremony in Istanbul and travel/accommodation arrangements are provided by the organizers.

Cash prizes for the top three finishers (Türkiye: 50,000 TL; 40,000 TL; 30,000 TL) and for international winners as applicable; 5-day Istanbul trip for country winners and accompanying persons; travel, accommodation, and per diems arranged by the organizer.

Targeted at students in Türkiye who are enrolled in official/public or private secondary education, specifically Preparatory, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades.

Submit a written short story online through the competition's designated channels as announced by the Dede Korkut Platformu.
