The Pitt Public Health Undergraduate Scholars Program is an eight-week residential summer program for college students to increase competency in public health and awareness of public health careers. The program combines internship placements, classroom instruction, group activities and mentorship.

Benefits

Eight-week residential internship placements; classroom instruction; mentorship; $3,400 stipend; round-trip transportation to Pittsburgh; on-campus housing; financial support for meals; travel to the 2026 APHA Annual Meeting.

Eligibility

The program is designed for college students; current Pitt BSPH students are not eligible to apply.
