Information

The Occupational Health Internship Program (OHIP) is a full-time, paid summer internship that places teams of two students with unions or worker organizations to research and address occupational safety and health issues. Interns conduct interviews, focus groups, jobsite observations and hazard investigations, and produce recommendations to reduce workplace hazards. The program includes supervision from a host staff member and an academic mentor, periodic seminars, and opportunities to attend local, state and national events.
