The Christine Mirzayan Science & Technology Policy Graduate Fellowship Program is a full-time, 12-week hands-on workforce training and educational fellowship at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine in Washington, DC. It places early career individuals with a National Academies unit where each fellow is assigned a mentor, completes substantive program unit work, attends guest speaker sessions, and participates in networking and policy-related activities. The program aims to deepen fellows' understanding of science and technology policy, expose them to the DC policy ecosystem, and build a professional alumni network. Fellows complete a group science and technology policy assignment and engage in cohort community-building activities.

Benefits

12-week full-time fellowship experience, $11,000 stipend, roundtrip transportation from U.S.-based residence to Washington, D.C., mentorship, networking, guest speaker series, and professional development leading to policy skill-building and alumni network membership.
