Information

The Fellowship Program for Public Health Practice is a 12-week paid fellowship placing students in federal, regional, state and local health agencies to complete public health projects across areas such as disease prevention, nutrition, policy and program planning. The program provides practical workforce experience, mentoring, professional development, and scholarship support. Placements may be in-person or remote and fellows are supervised by ASPHN staff and a site preceptor. The program has run since 2002 and has prepared over 1,000 students with applied public health skills.

Eligibility

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an institution of higher education in the United States and be in good academic standing. International students attending U.S. institutions must submit a student visa with their application.
