British Council Biennials Connect Grants 2025

The British Council Biennials Connect Grants provide funding to support visual artists’ participation in UK and international biennials and festivals. Grants are awarded to eligible biennials, festivals and art organisations to help with travel, production of new work, networking and showcasing through biennial partners. Priority is given to projects that foster international collaboration and involve early- to mid-career visual artists, including projects based in countries that are Official Development Assistance recipients.

Grants up to £9,500; activities include travel, production of new work, networking, skills development and showcasing through biennial partners.

Open to UK (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales) and international biennials, festivals and art organisations. Individual artists are not eligible to apply.

One lead applicant is required and collaboration can be enabled on the form.
