Information

The Chevening Healthcare, Health Policy, and Health Reform Fellowship is a six-month fellowship hosted at the University of Oxford for mid-career professionals to conduct research in health and related social policy. Fellows will produce an English-language paper and participate in academic activities, supported by the UK government’s Chevening programme and the Oxford host institution. The fellowship covers programme fees, living expenses, return airfare from China to the UK, and a research allowance, with additional cultural activities provided by the FCDO and Chevening Secretariat.

Eligibility

Applicants must be Chinese citizens currently living in China, intend to return to China after the period of study, hold a postgraduate qualification (or equivalent professional training/experience), have five+ years of professional experience (or be a current PhD candidate), and not hold dual British nationality. They must not be employees or relatives of certain UK government bodies or Chevening partner organisations within the last two years.
