Information

The CSIR, in collaboration with the Sasol Foundation, provides a comprehensive bursary for full-time, unemployed students pursuing qualifications in priority fields. The bursary covers registration, tuition, books, accommodation, living allowances, and a once-off laptop, with additional benefits such as mentorship, work placements opportunities, and support services. It targets South African citizens who are either current Grade 12 learners intending to enroll at a South African public university or current university students planning to study full-time at a South African university.

Eligibility

Current Grade 12 learners who are South African citizens and intend to enroll full-time at a South African public university; English (Level 5), Mathematics (Level 6), and Physical Science (Level 6). Current university students who are South African citizens planning to enroll full-time at a South African university for 2025 and have passed all registered courses for the completed study period.
