Kennan Institute Digital Fellowship 2026–2027

Fully virtual six-month research fellowship for scholars, researchers, journalists, and policy professionals working on Russia, Eurasia, and the former Soviet region. The program offers research funding, mentorship, professional development, and publication opportunities, with activities conducted online from anywhere in the world.

US$12,000 in funding over six months, US$2,000 monthly stipend, individual mentorship, six professional development webinars, publication support, and access to an international alumni network

Applicants should have several years of professional or academic experience studying or working on Russia and/or Eurasia, and be researchers, academics, journalists, policy experts, or professionals with demonstrated expertise.
