Gender Responsive Research for Optimized Women (GROW) Fellowship 2026

The GROW Fellowship is a non-residential fellowship aimed at accelerating leadership, visibility, and career advancement for women breeders in Africa. It provides leadership and negotiation skills training, mentoring, knowledge forums, and networking opportunities to enhance capacity in gender-responsive crop and livestock improvement research and development.

Participation in face-to-face and virtual activities including leadership and negotiation skills training, mentoring, knowledge forums and networking opportunities, and peer learning within a growing network of women professionals in crop improvement.

Women professionals who hold at least a Master’s degree in plant or livestock breeding, have at least 5 years of experience in crop or livestock improvement research, and are affiliated with universities, national agricultural research institutions, private companies or other relevant organizations.
