Fully-funded scholarship program at the University of Rwanda for academically talented but economically disadvantaged African students to pursue undergraduate and master’s studies. It is part of a 10-year partnership aimed at broadening access to higher education, with emphasis on young women, refugees and people with disabilities, and it includes academic, psychosocial and career support, along with financial coverage.

Eligibility
Open to citizens of African countries (including Rwandans), including refugees or displaced youth with documentation, who meet University of Rwanda admission requirements and show leadership potential and a commitment to give back to their communities.

Apply for admission at the University of Rwanda, then submit a scholarship application on the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Rwanda portal.
