CJID AI for Civil Society Workshop 2025 for CSOs in Nigeria

The CJID AI for Civil Society Workshop 2025 is a six-month engagement organized by the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) for civil society organisations (CSOs) in Nigeria. It focuses on building AI capacity, advocacy competence, and accountability in the AI ecosystem, including training on AI fundamentals, data governance, and ethical considerations, plus strategy development and implementation support for AI-related initiatives.

Open to registered Nigerian CSOs, non-profits, or advocacy organisations working within tech, governance, or civic engagement ecosystems, active in AI-related work or interested in building AI capacity.

Submit a short cover letter, a 1-page concept note describing an AI intervention, links to previous tech-related work, and evidence of registration as a Nigerian legal entity
