Information

The OWSD PhD Fellowships support women scientists from Science and Technology Lagging Countries (STLCs) to undertake PhD research at a centre of excellence in a developing country outside the applicant's own country. The programme funds research in natural sciences, engineering, information technology and accepts research proposals across disciplines. Fellows receive research mentorship and access to research facilities and the OWSD global network. The 2026 cycle focuses on sustainable, affordable, and reliable energy (SDG7).
