IBM PhD Fellowship Award

The IBM PhD Fellowship Award is a competitive, cohort-based fellowship that supports exceptional PhD students working in computer science, artificial intelligence, quantum computing and related disciplines. It provides a stipend and other research-related support and may include an internship opportunity with IBM. The programme selects candidates whose research aligns with IBM's strategic priorities and recognises outstanding research potential.

Annual stipend (approximately $35,000 USD), potential coverage of tuition, possible living expenses and travel costs, and an IBM internship opportunity.

Applicants must be studying at the PhD level and be from one of the listed African countries.
