The ACEP Ethanol Stove Innovation Hackathon 2025 invites participants to develop working prototypes of ethanol-based cookstoves that are environmentally sustainable and suitable for households in Ghana and beyond. The event is structured as a two-phase competition where individuals or teams design stoves that are efficient, affordable, safe, and locally adaptable. A total grant funding pool of up to $15,000 will support material costs, fabrication, testing, and the creation of a detailed design guide for the winning concepts.
