UNESCO Co‑sponsored Fellowships Programme for Africa

The UNESCO Co‑sponsored Fellowships Programme for Africa provides funding for African students and researchers to study or conduct research in UNESCO member states. Fellowships are financed by donor countries and organisations and target priority development areas in education, science, culture and communication. Awards support study or research at eligible academic or research levels and are offered to candidates from specified African countries.

Tuition coverage and may include living expenses/monthly allowance and travel costs.

Open to students and researchers from the listed African countries (see eligible countries). Applicants must be studying at the eligible level.

Prepare academic transcripts, recommendation letters and a personal statement and submit the application via the official UNESCO fellowships website before the deadline.
