Unibo for Refugees

Unibo for Refugees is a scholarship and support programme run by the University of Bologna to facilitate access to higher education for refugees and asylum seekers. It provides personalized support, tuition fee exemptions and financial aid for students enrolled in bachelor's, master's or single-cycle degree programmes. The programme includes language and cultural integration services, administrative support and access to university research and teaching infrastructures. Selected beneficiaries may receive an annual study award administered with ER.GO.

Tuition fee exemptions (total or partial), annual study award of 2500 euros for selected beneficiaries, free or subsidized Italian language courses, administrative and integration support, access to university infrastructures and orientation counselling.

Applicants must be asylum seekers, refugees or beneficiaries of international or temporary protection, hold a recognized secondary or university qualification for access to the chosen cycle of study, meet the specific admission criteria of the chosen study programme and be able to provide official documents proving protection status.
