Romain De Cock Scholarship for Surgical and Obstetric Health

The Romain De Cock Scholarship is a competitive award administered by the Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM) Antwerp to support students from low- and middle-income countries. It funds Master's students whose thesis research focuses on surgical, obstetric or gynecological health and related health system or infection control issues. The scholarship aims to strengthen local capacity in surgical and reproductive health in resource-limited settings.

Full tuition coverage; international travel expenses; monthly living allowance for the stay in Belgium.

Applicants must be nationals and residents of low- or middle-income countries (LMIC), be admitted to the ITM Master in Public Health or Master in Tropical Medicine, and present a thesis research project related to surgery, obstetrics or gynecology with demonstrated commitment to improving health systems in their country of origin.
