VLIR-UOS Scholarship for Master at Ghent University

The VLIR-UOS Scholarship for Master at Ghent University is a development-focused scholarship programme for students from 30 eligible countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. It supports applicants to two-year Master's programmes and short International Training Programmes with an emphasis on knowledge transfer and capacity building for sustainable development. The scholarship is offered in partnership between VLIR-UOS and Ghent University and targets future leaders seeking advanced academic and professional training.

Tuition and registration fees, monthly living allowance, return travel, health insurance and housing for the programme duration.

Applicants must be a national and resident of one of the 30 eligible countries defined by VLIR-UOS, be 35 years old or younger at the time of application, hold a relevant academic degree for the intended programme, and demonstrate motivation to contribute to the development of their country of origin.

Check eligible programmes on the VLIR-UOS official list, submit admission application to the chosen Ghent University Master's programme via the university portal and indicate intention to apply for a VLIR-UOS scholarship; selection is made by an academic committee.
