MEST AI Startup Program Class of 2026

The MEST AI Startup Program is a fully-sponsored, up to 12-month immersive experience designed to equip Africa’s AI entrepreneurs with technical, business, and leadership skills to build and scale AI startups. The program consists of a seven-month training phase (January–July 2026) followed by a four-month incubation phase (September–December 2026) for selected startups. It aims to help participants develop AI products, validate their market, and prepare for investment, with mentorship and access to a global network.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent experience; be 21–30 years old; have demonstrated software development experience and a basic understanding of AI; be entrepreneurial and ready to work in a high-intensity startup environment; and be a citizen of a country in West Africa.
