Yale Drama Series International Playwriting Competition 2026

The Yale Drama Series International Playwriting Competition is an annual, international contest for emerging playwrights. The winner receives a $10,000 prize, publication of their manuscript by Yale University Press, and a staged reading at Yale University. Submissions must be original, unpublished full-length plays written in English, with a minimum of 65 pages.
