Pulitzer Center Grant for Underreported Stories in Africa

The Pulitzer Center invites journalists, photojournalists, and documentary filmmakers to apply for a grant to support in-depth reporting on underreported topics in Africa. The funding aims to enable original storytelling on issues such as water and sanitation, land degradation, maternal health, education, and climate resilience, with preference for projects benefiting local communities. Grants cover reporting costs across various media platforms and may include editorial guidance and collaboration with international and African media partners.

Open to all journalists (independent or staff) and documentary filmmakers, with no nationality restrictions.
