Matrix Causes Fund

The Matrix Causes Fund is a charitable grant programme administered by Matrix Chambers under the aegis of Prism the Gift Fund that supports local and international initiatives focused on access to justice, equality of opportunity and environmental sustainability. It targets primarily small registered charities and non-profit organisations with limited financial resources. The fund awards a limited number of grants each year, with separate streams for international and UK projects and two application cycles annually.

Monetary grants (amounts up to the stated limits) to cover operational costs, campaign expenses or programme implementation; recognition and association with international legal experts.

Registered charities or non-profit organisations with annual income and total financial resources under £500,000; one application per organisation per cycle; priority to small/agile organisations; applications from organisations based in Madagascar or sub-Saharan Africa are eligible within international quotas.
