Information

Open to young Nigerian filmmakers under 35 to submit a short film addressing trafficking in persons. The contest provides a platform to reflect on counter-trafficking issues, with prizes for top entries and an emphasis on narratives that stimulate dialogue among actors involved in addressing trafficking. Films must be produced after January 1, 2023 and include English subtitles.

Benefits

Prize awards: First prize $2,500; Second prize $1,500; Third prize $1,000.

Eligibility

Open to all young Nigerians under 35 years old; entrants must be actively involved in making the film (director, writer, camera operator, editor, actor, etc.). Multiple youths can collaborate on one video and submit as a group.
