The CIPESA Forum on Internet Freedom in Africa 2025 invites session proposals to shape the event agenda. The edition gathers policymakers, regulators, human rights defenders, journalists, academics, private sector participants, and others to discuss digital rights, inclusion, and governance. The forum will be held in Windhoek, Namibia, from September 24–26, 2025, and includes tracks such as Digital Inclusion, Digital Resilience and Safety, Freedom of Expression & Access to Information, Platform Accountability, Implications of AI, Digital Economy, and Digital Democracy.

Eligibility

Open to civil society organisations, independent researchers and academics, journalists and media practitioners, policy-makers and government actors, regional and international organisations, and private sector actors.

Application

Submit a session proposal or request event support via the FIFAfrica25 Proposal Submission Form by June 20, 2025.
