Open Society Foundation Leadership in Government Fellowship 2025

The Leadership in Government Fellowship supports individuals who have played a significant role in advancing social change from within public service in the United States and its territories. The program provides a stipend and is designed for recent government leaders to reflect on their public service, expand their network and contribute their perspectives to public dialogue. Projects are described as lasting 12 or 18 months, with a stipend depending on time commitment.

Stipend between $115,000 and $160,000; opportunity to reflect on government service, expand network and influence public dialogue.

Applicants are senior-level, full-time government personnel who have recently completed service or will have completed their term before the fellowship begins.
