Liu Shiming Artist Grants 2025

The Liu Shiming Artist Grants 2025 provides financial support to visual artists in the early to mid stage of their careers to create or complete new projects that engage with traditional cultural or historical influences and contemporary practice. Up to five artists will be selected to receive a grant of $5,000, disbursed in two payments. Applications are open and must be submitted online.

Financial grant of up to $5,000 per recipient; two-installment disbursement; support for project creation or completion.

Visual artists who have been working for at least two years (but not more than 10 years) may apply; applicants must have either a degree in studio arts between 2015 and 2023 or a debut show between 2015 and 2023. Applications and materials must be in English.
