Latvian Government Scholarship

The Latvian Government Scholarship is a fully funded programme for international students and researchers to study at Latvian higher education institutions, including bachelor’s (from year two), master’s, and doctoral programmes, as well as summer schools. It is administered by VIAA (State Education Development Agency) and aims to attract applicants from countries with educational cooperation agreements with Latvia. The scholarship covers living costs, often includes tuition waivers, and supports participation in summer schools.

Applicants must come from countries that have cooperation agreements with Latvia in education and sciences, or countries that grant Latvia similar scholarships to their citizens.
