The UN FAO HASTEN Business Incubation Programme is an FAO initiative to support youth-led agrifood enterprises in Lesotho, Rwanda and Sierra Leone. Selected SMEs and startups participate in a 5-day in-person incubation workshop to strengthen sustainable business practices, develop business plans and financial strategies, and connect with ecosystem stakeholders. A final day ecosystem event and follow-up tailored support are included for scaling operations and partnerships.

Eligibility

SMEs and startups legally registered in Lesotho, Rwanda or Sierra Leone, 1–3 years of operation, led by entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35, and aligned with sustainable agrifood systems transformation.
