The OWSD-Elsevier Foundation Awards are for early career women scientists from the Global South working in sustainable energy. The award recognizes research excellence and provides a cash prize plus an all-expenses-paid trip to attend a relevant international conference. A total of five awards are given, distributed across regional categories and an additional floating award.

Eligibility

Early career women scientists from the Global South who have earned a PhD in STEM in the last ten years and have lived and worked for at least 5 of the last 15 years in one of the eligible STLC countries.

Application

Applications must be made online; required documents include proof of residency in an eligible STLC, PhD certificate, CV, publications, and reference letters.
